FS Casino

The descriptions of FS Casino are written under the editorial pseudonym Julian Ashbury. The name is not the name of a public person, and no biography, employment or qualification is attached to it. It stands for a single role at the casino: the person who sets out our rules in writing and answers for their accuracy.

Why a Pseudonym

A member who finds an error needs to know whom to address, and a stable name makes corrections traceable from one page to the next. A pseudonym achieves this without presenting an invented individual as an expert. We state openly that it is a pseudonym so that no member is misled about who is writing.

Methodology

Each description follows the same sequence of work.

  1. Read the rule in the cashier, the promotions section and our terms.
  2. Compare the three sources. Where they differ, the figure shown in the cashier for the account takes precedence, and the difference is noted for correction.
  3. Check every calculation: a stage of the welcome package, a wagering requirement, a limit.
  4. Record the date on which each figure was read.
  5. Write the description in the terms the cashier uses.
  6. Review it again after any change of offer or limit.

Rules That Govern the Writing

  • Every amount is stated in the currency of the page and in no other.
  • A figure is published only where it has been read in our own documents.
  • A bonus is never described without its wagering requirement and time limit.
  • No outcome is promised. Gambling carries a negative expected result.
  • No description of a personal test is given, because the author does not claim to have played on behalf of the member.

Calculations We Show

When a description includes a worked example, it uses the published figures only. A deposit of €10 at the second stage carries a bonus of €11 at 110%, and the requirement of 40 times that bonus is €440. The example is arithmetic, not a forecast of what a member will win.

Responsible Gambling in the Descriptions

Each description is written on the basis that the reader is an adult who may set limits. The tools we provide, namely deposit limits, reality checks and temporary or permanent self-exclusion, are mentioned wherever a decision to deposit is discussed.

Sources and Their Order

The author reads three of our own sources and treats them in a fixed order. The cashier is read first because it shows the live limits for the account. The promotions section is read second because it states the offers and their periods. The terms are read last because they contain the general conditions that apply to every offer. Where a description contains a number, that number can be traced to one of the three.

Update Policy

Figures that change with an offer, such as percentages, caps and periods, are reviewed whenever the offer changes. Figures that change rarely, such as the minimum age, the one-account rule and the inactivity period of six months, are reviewed whenever the terms are amended. Each description carries the date of its version in the page header of the document.

Review Before Publication

A description is not published until three questions have been answered. Does every figure appear in our own documents? Does every calculation return the same result when it is repeated? Does the text avoid any statement about what a member will win? A description that fails one of the three is returned for rewriting.

Where to Send Corrections and Questions

Corrections, questions about a calculation and objections to wording are addressed to [email protected]. Our support team passes them to the author, and the reply names the sentence that has been changed.

Boundaries of the Descriptions

The descriptions report the rules of the casino. They do not report the results of individual sessions and they do not predict any. A member who wants to know how a rule applies to a particular account should ask our support team, because only the account record can answer that question.

Responsibility

The author answers for the accuracy of the descriptions at the date shown. Offers, limits and conditions that change after that date are corrected under the update policy above, and the casino remains responsible for the rules themselves.

Corrections

An error will be corrected as soon as it is confirmed, and the date of the document will show the new version. A member who finds a difference between a description and the cashier, or a figure that has changed, should write to [email protected] with the page and the sentence concerned.

How a Reader Can Check a Figure

A reader can verify any figure in a description in two steps. First open the cashier or the promotions section of the account and find the same offer or method. Second compare the percentage, the cap, the period and the limit with the text. If the two differ, the account is correct and the description needs correction, which the reader is invited to report.

What the Author Does Not Do

The author does not give financial advice, does not rank the casino against others, and does not speak for payment providers or game studios.
